Overview
If you’re a CRNA looking to grow your independent practice, technical and leadership skills this is a great opportunity!
Ophthalmology ASC opportunity where your skills and ability to practice at the full scope of your licensure are highly valued and respected.
Eye block experience and ability to function in a fast-paced environment are plusses but willing to teach.
Compensation
1099 position: Guaranteed 8 hrs or $1600/day
Malpractice: Occurrence insurance at no cost to you with $1mil/$3mil limits.
Duties:
Ability to work well with and oversee the Pre-Operative Assessment RN (Hired by Ultra
Care, works every Thursday as well)
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthetic plans.
Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout procedures to ensure safety.
Manage airways effectively, utilizing advanced airway management techniques as needed.
Document all medical information accurately (currently paper charting)
Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care during operations.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations in all aspects of patient care.
Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge relevant to anesthesiology.
Reviews safety equipment.
Makes recommendations to Nurse Manager regarding availability, in-service of emergency procedures, appropriate testing of emergency equipment, and annual review and revision of policies and procedures.
Requirements
Current Florida Licenses
Current NBCRNA Certification
BLS/ACLS certification
Current NPDB report
2 yrs of Independent practice experience a must (CRNA Only, No Supervision).
Eye block proficiency preferred but willing to train.
Proficient in administering injections and medication administration.
Strong skills in patient monitoring and assessment, including vital signs evaluation.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
