Ethesia is a specialized job board dedicated to clinicians and healthcare professionals within the United States. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our website and services.

Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, resume details, and other information you provide when creating an account or applying for jobs.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Employers: When you apply for a job, your information is shared with the prospective employer.
Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website and providing our services.

Your cell phone number & text-message consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your cell phone number to operate Ethesia and to send the account notifications you asked for. The service providers that deliver those messages for us (for example, our text-message provider, Twilio) handle it only for that purpose.

Contact details you send to an employer. Ethesia exists to put clinicians and employers in touch. When you submit a job application, an inquiry or an “Express interest” form, or accept an employer's contact request, the contact details you entered — which may include your phone number — are sent, at your direction, to the employer who posted that job so they can respond to you. An employer who unlocks your profile in Talent Finder can likewise see the contact details on your profile. That is the service Ethesia provides; it is not marketing. 5. Your Choices

Account Information: You can review and update your account information from your account settings at any time. To delete your account and the personal information associated with it, sign in and choose Delete my account under Your profile → Security, or follow the steps on our account deletion page. You can also email support@ethesia.com and we will process your request as described in Your California Privacy Rights and Data Retention below.

Communications:
We may use your email address to send you job alerts, updates and newsletters. We send text messages only to people who have opted in, and only about activity on their Ethesia account, such as new job matches, job inquiry and message updates, and verification codes. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Email: You can opt out of receiving promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in the email. However, you may still receive transactional or service-related emails, such as confirmations or account notifications.
SMS: By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Ethesia. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. 6. Your California Privacy Rights

Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing”: we do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” limited identifiers with advertising partners (such as Meta or LinkedIn) for cross-context behavioral advertising — you can opt out of this at any time using the Your Privacy Choices controls in our Cookie Policy. These are cookie and device identifiers collected on our website; they never include your cell phone number, your text-message opt-in data or your consent.
Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct, email support@ethesia.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or anonymize it.

You can delete your account and the associated personal information at any time using the self-service flow described on our account deletion page, or request deletion by emailing support@ethesia.com — see Your California Privacy Rights above. When you delete your account, your profile is removed from the platform right away and remaining records are permanently erased in line with this policy. Certain records may be retained for a limited period where required by law (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations).

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and the appropriate authorities without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
