About the Clinician's Workday

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage with required consults and rounding responsibilities. The clinician will work 7am to 7am shifts managing inpatient cardiothoracic surgery cases with robust Mitral clip and TAVR programs, thoracic and aortic repair procedures. The position requires board certification in cardiothoracic surgery with continuous availability for emergency cases using the EPIC EMR system. The facility requires at least 20 days of coverage per month to support the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

UpdateClinic would occur during their call shift, again for someone with a more consistent availability. We are looking for someone willing to commit to 10+ days a month, usually one day a week in the clinic from 9 AM to 3 PM. Surgeon would be familiar with structural heart procedures such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) & Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (MitraClip), Aortic Valve Repair, or Replacement.
