Job Title: General Anesthesiologist – $550K 1099 | 190 Days Off | Level III Trauma | No OB Call
Brief Overview:
$550K 1099 for 39 weeks/year with 13 weeks off + post-call days (totaling 190 days off annually).

Opportunity Summary:
An established Level III trauma hospital in a growing bedroom community just outside of Houston is seeking a General Anesthesiologist for a full-time 1099 opportunity.
This is an OR-focused position with no routine OB responsibilities, a highly manageable call schedule, and significant time off each year.
The practice features diverse cases, strong CRNA support, and a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights:
$550,000 annually (1099)
13 weeks off per year + all post-call days off
Total of ~190 days off annually
Malpractice and tail coverage included
Sign-on bonus available
No visa sponsorship available
Clinical Scope:
Primarily OR-based anesthesia
No routine OB — a 24/7 OB team is in place
(you may occasionally provide OB backup or CRNA supervision for OB)
Level III trauma center
Wide-ranging case mix including:
Neuro, General, GI, Ortho, Gyn, Urology, Radiology, Vascular
Monthly Schedule Structure:
5 weekday primary call shifts
(12-hour OR day followed by 12-hour home call with post-call day off)
5 regular weekday shifts (8-hour day)
2 primary weekend call shifts (24-hour home call)
2 secondary weekend call shifts (24-hour home call)
1 full week off per month
All post-call days off
Team Environment:
Collaborative anesthesia care model with:
8 Anesthesiologists
11 CRNAs
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Recent experience within the past year in a Level III trauma center or higher
Proficient and confident managing neurosurgical patients
