B&B/Ortho Anesthesiologist

$250 + $1,200 stipend

Responsibilities:

Handle diverse cases including Level 1 Trauma, Bread & Butter, and Orthopedics.

OB/Cardiac case proficiency is a plus.
Can place epidurals/spinals if proficient.
Supervised model, 1:2, 1:3 ration.

CV/Peds Unit available if proficient/experienced.

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible.

IL license holder or in process.

Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred.

Ability to secure emergency privileges within 3-4 weeks (no background, malpractice and urgency in credentialing cycle)

Scheduling Overview:

5 x 10's M-F

Hospital posts 3 schedules per year in 4-month blocks.
Example:

Block 1: January - April

Block 2: May - August

Block 3: September - December

Dates are first come first serve, not guaranteed until scheduler sends final schedule via email

Final schedules for next block are released 1-1.5 months before next block starts
