Outpatient Ortho/General CRNA

Site: Specialist One-Day Surgery Center

Assignment length: 26 weeks

Case mix: General and orthopedic, with heavy emphasis on ortho and frequent block work

This is a high-volume outpatient surgery center with 8 anesthesia rooms.
CRNAs are expected to perform regional blocks and work at the top of their scope under supervision.

Supervision model: MD-supervised CRNAs

Ratio: 4 CRNAs to 1 MD

MDs do not run their own cases

Schedule: 10-hour shifts only

Shift time: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

No in-house call, no weekday call, no weekend call

Overtime is not expected but may occasionally be offered

Providers are expected to work the full scheduled shift including unpaid lunch

Availability requirement: Must be available 4 weeks per month (this is essentially near full-time commitment)

Credentialing: Approximately 30 days

Must cross-credential at Crouse

No candidates needing state licensure accepted

Compensation and support:

Completion bonus of $20,000 if 520 hours are worked within 17 consecutive weeks.
