Responsibilities
Independently provide and manage anesthesia for a high volume of orthopedic surgical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques.
Continuously monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthetic delivery.
Manage patient emergence and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice standards.
Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
Current unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
Strong clinical skills and the ability to independently manage anesthesia for orthopedic cases.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
