Guide Anesthesia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join the team at Merritt Island Surgery Center in Florida.
This is a physician-led ambulatory surgery center offering a collaborative practice environment, predictable scheduling, and an excellent work-life balance.
Whether you prefer a traditional full-time schedule or a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation, this opportunity provides the flexibility to fit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for outpatient surgical procedures.
Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, nursing staff, and perioperative teams.
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications
MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
Strong communication and collaborative practice skills.
Compensation Summary
1099 Independent Contractor
Primary
$340/hour
Annualized Compensation: $680,000
($340/hour × 2,000 hours = $680,000)
Supplemental
$325/hour
26-Week Rotation
Approximately $340,000 based on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule
Scheduling
46 working weeks per year
4–5 days per week
Traditional full-time schedule available
2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation available
