An established private anesthesia practice in North Central Florida is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist. The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of surgical specialties in an efficient and patient-focused environment.
Opportunity
A full-time Anesthesiologist job opening is immediately available with a case mix that includes primarily orthopedics (total joints, hands, and sports medicine), as well as Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, Pain, Urology, and General cases. There is no OB.
This position offers a great lifestyle with a Monday to Friday schedule and no call or weekends. Regional experience is a plus! Responsibilities
Provide and manage anesthesia for a diverse range of outpatient surgical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques.
Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Manage patient emergence and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
Current unrestricted medical license in the State of Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
Strong clinical skills and experience managing anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases.
Regional anesthesia experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
