Opportunity Highlights

Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Regular Hours, No Call

Job Setting: Peninsula Surgery Center, 3 Anesthesia Rooms, Epic charting system

Types of Cases: General, Pediatrics, healthy urology, GYN, and General cases, ASA 1-2, healthy peds

Credentialing: 90 days

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible: Yes

Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse, VA license (willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license)Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Performance of clinical intervention as needed
