Opportunity Highlights

Schedule: 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (44 week assignment)Job Setting: Hospital, 34 anesthesia rooms

Types of Cases: Endoscopy, General, Ortho

Credentialing: 90 days (Emergency privileges under 30 days and Temporary privileges 30-60 days available)Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible: BCRNACertifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia state license (possible to obtain, but ideally would already have)Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
