Responsibilities

• Provide and manage anesthesia autonomously for a variety of cases within a GI center.

• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.

• Administer and monitor anesthesia safely, ensuring patient comfort during endoscopic and procedural cases.

• Manage patients effectively in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and adhere to all facility protocols.

• Collaborate with the surgical and nursing teams to ensure an efficient clinical flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.

• Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

• Valid and unrestricted Illinois license (or eligibility for licensure).

• Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage cases independently.

• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
