Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locum

Wave Health Partners is pleased to present a new locum tenens opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist in Miami, Florida.

Position Highlights:

- Compensation: Industry competitive and negotiable.
- Case Mix: Includes General Surgery, OB/Gyn/GYO, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, Cath Lab, CVL, Endo, ENT, and Spines. There is minimal aortic surgery and no cardiac transplants.
- Cardiac Case Specifics: Cases include CABG, Valves, TAVR, Mitraclip, LAA ligation, and EP.
- Primary Workload: Majority of cases are Orthopedic, General, and GYN/GYO/OB.
- Clinical Model: Physicians perform their own cases 70% of the time and provide supervision for the remaining 30%.
- EMR: Medaxion.

Coverage Schedule:

- Rotation: 2 weeks on (14 days) followed by 1 week off (7 days).
- Hours: Monday through Friday with varying shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 7:00 PM) plus weekend shift rotations.
- Call: Required.

Requirements:

- Certification: ABA Board Certification and Cardiac Fellowship training.
- Licensure: Active Florida medical license required at the time of presentation.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
