Description

Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity – 1099 | Full-Time

Doctors Medical Center – Modesto, California

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the cardiovascular anesthesia team at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, a high-volume regional referral center.

This is a 1099 opportunity for cardiac coverage, with full-time availability strongly preferred.

Full-time commitment to range from 26 to 46 weeks per year, though we will also consider PRN coverage for the right candidate.

Schedule and Scope of Practice:

Coverage consists of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Cardiac providers focus exclusively on cardiac surgery and Cath Lab cases.

Three dedicated CV anesthesia providers are scheduled daily.

We are primarily seeking full-time coverage, but remain open to PRN availability.

Weekday and weekend call (Saturdays) on a rotation basis.

Onboarding and Workflow:

Onboarding includes an initial site visit to meet the cardiovascular surgeons and become familiar with the cardiac workflow.

Providers typically begin in the Cath Lab before progressing into more complex cardiac cases as they acclimate to the team and practice environment.

The ramp-up period is approximately 30 days.

Compensation Structure (1099):

This is a competitive 1099 opportunity that includes paid call and free shared housing.
