St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit. Responsibilities
  • Case assignments: CRNAs at this practice have a high degree of independence. Cases include hearts, craniotomies, regional
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
  • Schedule: One 16hr call per week available at College Station Medical Center and one 24hr call per week
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Salary: $254K - $294K
Sign on Incentive: Sign-on bonus $50K
