About the Practice
An established, high-efficiency ophthalmic surgery center located in the beautiful coastal Wilmington, North Carolina area is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a premier part-time clinical opening. This state-of-the-art facility features dedicated, streamlined procedure bays tailored exclusively for low-acuity outpatient eye cases, maintaining a predictable, rapid-turnover environment. Supported by a dedicated perioperative nursing team, the facility ensures a stress-free clinical workflow that values provider independence and excellent patient outcomes.
Opportunity
This is a highly autonomous, lucrative part-time position for a CRNA seeking a predictable, daylight-driven schedule. The clinical focus centers entirely on general/MAC sedation for routine ophthalmology cases from Monday through Thursday, with flexible part-time options available. Crucially, there are no eye blocks required for this role, as the surgeons handle them independently.
The position offers exceptional lifestyle protection with absolutely no call, no nights, and no weekends required. While the facility has an established volume of 7,500 cases annually and a maximum of 25 cases per day, the workflow is so well-optimized that most days end early by 1:00 PM, leaving your afternoons completely free.

Complete all electronic health charts and anesthesia medical documentation thoroughly and promptly following each case.
Coordinate seamlessly with the attending ophthalmologists and surgical technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and collaborative room turnover.
Qualifications
