This is a flexible, highly lucrative contract opening for experienced CRNAs who thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced outpatient setting. The clinical focus centers entirely on providing propofol sedation for routine GI procedures (endoscopies and colonoscopies).
To fit your schedule, the facility offers both part-time and full-time configurations, ranging from 2 to 5 days per week on an ongoing basis. Shifts run strictly during early morning hours, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and concluding daily at 1:00 PM, leaving your afternoons completely free.

Responsibilities
Administer and precisely manage intravenous sedation (primarily propofol) for scheduled adult outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
Conduct focused, efficient pre-anesthetic clinical evaluations to verify appropriate candidacy for an outpatient ambulatory environment.
Monitor patient physiological vitals dynamically throughout the procedure, ensuring safe airway maintenance and appropriate sedation depths.
Oversee smooth patient emergence and provide clinical supervision in the post-anesthesia recovery area to facilitate safe, efficient patient discharge.
Complete comprehensive, accurate, and prompt electronic anesthesia medical charts immediately following case conclusions.
Maintain an efficient, collegial professional rapport with the attending gastroenterologists and endoscopy technicians to ensure steady, safe room turnover.
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of North Carolina.
Active certification or recertification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Proven post-graduation clinical experience as a CRNA is strictly required (independent proficiency in high-volume outpatient GI or ASC settings is highly preferred).
CRNAs must carry and maintain their own independent professional medical malpractice insurance policy covering the active contract dates.
Active, valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
