Palm Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum contract at a well-established community-based acute care hospital located in the Southeastern U.

S., just outside a vibrant mid-sized city.

The hospital is surrounded by peaceful residential areas, tree-lined streets, and easy access to local cafes, parks, and schools.

The CRNA will join a stable and efficient OR team in a modern facility that offers consistent surgical volume, low acuity, and minimal complexity.

This is a bread-and-butter anesthesia role, ideal for CRNAs looking to work independently while maintaining work-life balance in a collegial setting.

🗓 Schedule & Coverage

Shift Options:

▪️ 4x10s (Mon–Thu or Tue–Fri, 7am–5pm)

▪️ 5x8s (Mon–Fri, 7am–3pm)

Call: Home call every 2 weeks (low volume)

Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)

🩺 Clinical & Facility Details

Setting: 8-OR community hospital

Patient Volume: ~200/month, ages 15–100

Case Types: General surgery, OB/Gyn, ENT, Ortho – no high-acuity or trauma

Support: 1 Anesthesia Tech onsite

Tech: Epic EMR, standard anesthesia equipment

Trauma Level: Non-designated

Environment: Independent practice, no residents/fellows

🧾 Requirements

NBCRNA Certified

South Carolina license (required)

Certifications: BLS & ACLS

CSR & DEA required

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Vaccines: Required (flu mandatory, exemptions considered)

💰 Compensation

Hourly Rate: $200–$250+ (based on coverage/commitment and competition)

All-Inclusive OT/Holiday Rate: 1.35x regular rate
