Description

Job Title: Locum CRNA

Employment Status: 1099

Location: Northern Arkansas - Ozark Mountains

Duration: 3 month - 1 year

Shifts: 8 and 10 hour shifts available (10 hour shifts not guaranteed consecutive)

Call: Required (20 min response time, light call back)

Job Type: Locum/Contract

Case Types: General, OB, Ortho, Endo, and healthy peds ENT/Dental. No Neuro or cardiac.

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 - 45 days

Special Requirements: Must be willing to take call and work independently at times. Regional Block experience preferred.

EMR: Meditech and Paper

Supervision Model: Supervision/Independent - MDA on site most days

Job Summary:

Located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Strong in orthopedics, general surgery and GYN. A fair number of general ENT and dental cases are performed as well. Delivers approximately 500 babies annually and approximately 6000 surgical cases annually. A level 1 nursery and a level 3 trauma facility.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Arkansas.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a CRNA, with proficiency in OB, Peds and Regional Blocks.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
