Position Overview

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an excellent opportunity with an established outpatient surgical center in Tampa, Florida.

This position offers competitive hourly compensation, a consistent weekday schedule, and the opportunity to practice in a specialized ambulatory surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patient readiness for procedures.
Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for cataract, glaucoma, and other outpatient ophthalmic procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Oversee post-anesthesia recovery and facilitate safe transitions to PACU care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to established safety standards.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Florida RN and CRNA/APRN licensure.
Active national CRNA certification.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong clinical assessment, anesthesia management, and patient safety skills.
Experience in outpatient surgery or ophthalmic anesthesia preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
