About the Clinician's Workday

The diagnostic radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including fluoro and light interventional procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and thyroid biopsies. The clinician will first read X-rays and ultrasounds, then perform fluoro/IR studies, followed by CT and MR as time allows. In-house radiologists will prioritize STAT exams from the emergency department and inpatient units. The daily workload averages 70-100 exams with RVUs typically ranging from 60-130 depending on the clinician. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required for this onsite position with no call responsibilities.
