Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWVMC) is a Level I Trauma Center located in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, offering a broad and rewarding anesthesiology practice within a well supported clinical environment.
Practice Environment
  • 12 operating rooms
  • 2 electrophysiology (EP) suites
  • 4 endoscopy rooms
  • 2 C section suites

o General Surgery
o Cardiac

  • Optional overtime opportunities available at $275/hour
Competitive Compensation
  • Base Salary: $500,000
  • $2,000/month Early Signing Stipend up to $60,000 for residents
  • $560,000+ with experience
  • Annual salary increases
  • Forgivable Recruitment Loan: $200,000
o Taxes amortized over 4 years
o Early payout available to residents and fellows
