Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, and patient‑centered Full‑Time Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our clinical team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care while supporting a high‑quality, culturally responsive patient experience.

You will manage a robust patient panel, provide evidence‑based primary care, and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment that prioritizes preventative wellness, continuity of care, and strong patient relationships. The ideal candidate brings exceptional clinical judgment, a commitment to community health, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence & Patient Care

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within standard‑of‑care guidelines.

  • Order, interpret, and integrate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic reports into individualized treatment plans.

  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic regimens with careful attention to allergies, contraindications, and safety.

  • Counsel and educate patients on preventative health, lifestyle modification, and long‑term wellness strategies.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with practice managers, administrative staff, and allied health professionals to ensure an efficient, patient‑focused clinic workflow.

  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control protocols, and all relevant federal and Maryland state regulations.

Qualifications & Clinical Requirements

Language & Communication

  • Fluency in English and Korean is required to effectively serve our local patient population and support culturally competent care.

Education & Licensure

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an accredited residency program.

  • Current, unrestricted Maryland medical license (or immediate eligibility).

  • Active DEA registration.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience & Core Competencies

  • Minimum of 1 year of post‑residency experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred.

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to team‑based, collaborative care.

  • Comfort working with diverse patient populations and delivering culturally sensitive care.
