General Anesthesiologist

Join a high-acuity, collaborative anesthesia team at a premier medical center in the Nashville area. We are seeking Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for long-term locum opportunities with flexible scheduling and optional call.

Position Highlights

• Competitive hourly compensation

• Monthly performance incentive available for eligible providers

• Start: ASAP following credentialing

• Contract Length: 6–12 months

• Schedule: Day shifts with 8- or 10-hour options

• Full-time preferred; part-time candidates considered

• Optional overnight in-house call (highly preferred but not required)

• No weekend requirements unless taking weekend call

• Medical direction practice model

• Cross-credentialing with a nearby affiliated facility

Case Mix

Broad case variety including spine, orthopedics, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, vascular, urology, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, some OB, interventional radiology, thoracic, general surgery, bariatrics, and endoscopy. No transplant or cardiac cases.

• Lodging, mileage, airfare, and rental car reimbursement considered based on eligibility

• Additional compensation available for call, callback, overtime, and beeper call coverage

Requirements

• Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility for expedited Tennessee licensure through a reciprocal state

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• ACLS, BLS, and DEA

• Comfortable managing high-acuity patients in a medical direction care team model

• Strong regional anesthesia skills preferred
