Description
- Position Highlights:
- The anesthesiologist will practice general anesthesiology, to include neuro, OB, thoracic, and regional anesthesia. No cardiac or pediatric cases.
- This position will have a teaching faculty appointment with our academic affiliate, Baylor College of Medicine-Temple. The anesthesiologist will have numerous teaching and academic opportunities with medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities for academic productivity, such as research and publication, are supported but are not a requirement.
- The selected individual will join a large established team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CA
- The work schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday with a proportional share of weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
- Approximately 1 weekday (Mon-Thurs) call shift per month, with pre and post call days off
- 1-2 weekend call shifts (12 hours) per month, with Paid Extra
- $300 hourly rate for all work after 4:00 on weekdays and weekend
- All in comp expectation for median team member is $650,000. $700,000+ is achievable (this does not include any retirement or benefit dollars)
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits
- Paid vacation days- 27 days off each year, amount increases with longevity of employment.
- Additional 3 weeks of educational/CME time.
- Employer contributed retirement savings up to ~$40,000 a year
- CME reimbursement ($4,200)
