General Anesthesiology Opportunity

Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) Department of Anesthesiology comprises a physician-led Anesthesiology team consisting of pediatric, cardiac, and regional fellowship-trained members, alongside CRNAs and a complement of Per Diems.

With a service area ranging east to Palm Springs, west to Corona, and south to Temecula, our Riverside service area has two medical centers, located in Riverside and Moreno Valley.

Riverside Medical Center is expected to complete 12,500 surgical cases and 3,200 deliveries/year.

Surgical cases include general surgery, colorectal, urology, vascular,

thoracic, orthopedic, head and neck, OB/GYN, and some pediatric.

We do not perform cardiac, neurosurgery, spine, or complicated pediatric cases.

Riverside is a hybrid model with both CRNA supervision and MDs doing their own cases.

Being a smaller hospital, Moreno Valley’s estimated surgical cases is 3,900 and 1,500 deliveries/year.

The types of cases are similar to Riverside with the exception of vascular and thoracic cases.

This is an MD-only model with an anesthesiologist providing all care.

The Riverside service area is poised to begin significant growth in the next few years with the addition of a new surgery center and new OR towers.

Additionally, the Inland Empire offers affordable, high-quality housing and is conveniently located within driving distance of Los Angeles and Orange County.

Many of our partners live in beach communities and commute to work.

Mountains, beaches, deserts, and lakes are all within an easy drive.
