Opportunity
There are immediate full-time and part-time General Anesthesiologist job openings for a wide variety of cases including OB, pediatrics, vascular, orthopedics, regional anesthesia, and outpatient surgery. Notably, no cardiac, trauma, or transplant cases are involved. 1300-1400 open hearts and 800-900 TAVRs annually as well as other structural heart cases.

Responsibilities
Provide and manage anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques.
Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery to ensure safety and optimal surgical conditions.
Manage emergence and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care in the PACU.
Call Positions: Participate in a rotation of 1x per week (with post-call day off) and one (1) weekend per month.
Maintain accurate electronic clinical records and collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certification or Eligibility (ABA or AOBA) in Anesthesiology.
Valid and unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Proficiency in a variety of anesthetic techniques; regional anesthesia skills are a significant plus.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
