General Surgery CRNA

Job Requirements
Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians
Provide preoperative assessments and patient education
Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team
Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Work day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) with no on-call or weekend requirements
Work Experience
Not accepting new graduate candidates
Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS
Only fully licensed providers eligible; cannot be waiting to obtain state license
Locum coverage only; not for permanent hire
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate - No lodging, flights or rental cars

REQUIRED PRIOR TO CLIENT PRESENTATION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – [REQUIRED]
Active Michigan RN License (must have in hand at time of presentation, no exceptions) – [REQUIRED]
NBCRNA Board Certification – [REQUIRED]
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA) – [REQUIRED]
Clean Malpractice/License History – [REQUIRED]
Willingness to work variable day shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) – [REQUIRED]
NPDB Self-Query report (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED], required at the time of presentation.
Must be able to work full time [REQUIRED]
Please note if the provider is interested in ENDO only-screening colons and EGDs, but also advanced GI procedures.
It is not required that they only work endo but it is required to note if they are interested or not [Required]
The Overtime rate needs to be the same as the hourly rate, or note that the provider is not interested in "OT" rate. [REQUIRED]
