The clinical scope encompasses general hematologic and oncologic conditions, with a consult distribution of 50% hematology and 50% oncology, and follow-up visits weighted at 85% oncology and 15% hematology. Call coverage is required on a 1:4 rotation with 24-hour call structured as Tuesday 8:00 AM through Tuesday 8:00 AM; call volume is low and consists primarily of phone consults, with hospitalists responsible for all patient admissions. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for both inpatient and outpatient encounters.
