Schedule: 4x10s (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday), 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call: Weeknight & weekend call required (shared equally)

🩺 Opportunity Overview
Palm Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum assignment at a rural critical access hospital in northern New England.
This facility is part of a respected academic health network and plays a vital role in serving the surrounding small-town and regional communities.
The assignment is to provide coverage during a maternity leave and offers a flexible schedule, strong team culture, and high autonomy.
The ideal candidate is confident practicing independently and experienced in obstetrical anesthesia, including labor epidurals.
You’ll join a tight-knit anesthesia team consisting of 5 CRNAs and 1 MD anesthesiologist operating in a team-based model.
🗓 Work Schedule & Call
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1700)
Weeknight Call: From end of OR day until 0700 the next morning
Weekend Call: Friday end of OR schedule through Monday 0700
Call is shared equally among the CRNA team

Facility Type: 25-bed rural critical access hospital
OR Setup: 2 operating rooms, 1 procedure room, 1 GI endoscopy suite
Case Mix:
▪️ General Surgery
▪️ ENT
▪️ OB/GYN
▪️ Urology
▪️ Orthopedics
▪️ GI Endoscopy
▪️ Ophthalmology (cataracts)
Procedures Required:
▪️ General anesthesia
▪️ MAC
▪️ Regional (spinals)
▪️ Labor epidurals
Practice Environment:
▪️ Team-based model with physician supervision
▪️ Independent CRNA call
▪️ Collegial, respectful team with support for big cases and call questions
EMR: Epic (same across hospital and clinic)
📋 Requirements
NBCRNA Certification
BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
Minimum Experience: Comfort with independent call and OB anesthesia
Must be team-oriented, adaptable, and professional
Phone and virtual interview may be required prior to offer
💰 Compensation
Rate: $200–$250+/hr (negotiable based on availability and commitment)
Overtime: Daily OT after 10 hours
