About the Clinician's Workday
Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day and call shifts at an inpatient and operating room facility in North Carolina, working Monday through Friday on rotating 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. The surgical case mix includes bread and butter and obstetric procedures, with CRNAs performing labor epidurals; cardiovascular experience including vascular, lung, and open heart cases is preferred but not required. Call coverage is required on a 1:8 rotation including weekends, with the MD taking first OR call and the CRNA on the 12-hour shift taking first OB beeper call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating throughout the week. An active and clear North Carolina license and board certification are required for all clinicians in this role.
