About the Clinician's Workday

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care managing up to 30 patients daily with both inpatient and clinic responsibilities Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires 24-hour call coverage including STEMI call management with 1-2 calls per night and handling unassigned calls ranging from 5-10 per night. The clinician will perform cardiac catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, tilt table procedures, and nuclear stress tests while maintaining accurate documentation through the EPIC EMR system. Weekend call coverage extends from 7:00 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday with continuous availability for emergency cardiac interventions.
