Emergency Privs available with clean file.
Shift Times - 7am-5pm for dayshift and 5pm-7am for CV beeper call
Weekdays and weekends, as needed.
Average daily cases - CV = 3 or 4
Is there CRNA support on call shifts? Not for CV call
Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORANumber of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000
Anesthesia Model: 9
MD / 16 APPMD: CRNA Ratio: 1:3.
Care team model.
Physicians do 99% supervision.
Self performing cases is uncommon.
Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient.
Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab, *NO OB*NO TRANSPLANTS***Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc, 10-12/week. 40-50/month.
EP, watchman = 80/month.
EMR: Medaxion (for anesthesia charting)Meditech for orders.
