Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Massachusetts | No Call or Weekends!
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Start Date: January 4, 2027
Openings: 2 Anesthesiologists
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Zeal Med is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Massachusetts!
This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a consistent weekday schedule, independent practice, and a great work-life balance.
SCHEDULE & ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Full-time coverage
- Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month
- No call or weekends specified
- Independent practice with no supervision
- Hospital operating room and endoscopy coverage
- Assignment end date: August 6, 2027
- Credentialing timeline: Approximately 90 days
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- General anesthesia
- Orthopedics
- Plastic surgery
- Urology
- Gynecology
- Endoscopy
- Healthy pediatric cases
- Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks
- Endoscopy coverage may involve 16–20 cases per day
- EMR: Epic
REQUIREMENTS
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- Massachusetts DEA registration
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- ABA certification or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred
- Comfortable practicing independently and providing anesthesia for healthy pediatric patients
