The Opportunity
Join our team as an Anesthesia Cardiac specialist in Dover, Delaware, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a supportive team, ensuring optimal outcomes for cardiac patients.
Assignment Details
Location: Dover, Delaware
Start Date: Beginning January 2027
Duration: 3 months w/ the option to extend.
Schedule: 2 weeks per month, Monday-Friday, could consist of either 8 or 10-hr day shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week Call Requirements: Yes, weeknight and weekend call coverage required.
Could consist of up to a couple weeknight call shifts per week (post day call off) and they need 24-hour weekend call coverage while provider is there, which starts at 3 pm or 5 pm on Friday and ends at 7 am on Monday.
Setting: Inpatient, OR/Surgery Dept.
Trauma Level 3.
Credentialing: 60-90 days
EMR System: EPICModel: During the day would supervise and have CRNA support with general cases.
If in heart room or on cardiac beeper call, it is possible they will have a CRNA but not guaranteed.
Case Types: Will do mainly general cases during the day with potential to be in heart room if provider ever works any day shifts.
For call shifts, they are only on call for cardiac.
