This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, top-of-market pay, and a supportive clinical team.The Role:Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Assignment duration: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
Shift Type: Full-time, Minimum 3 weeks per Month
Cases: Non-invasive cardiology - outpatient clinic Monday-Friday (panel of patients to follow); inpatient care and rounding during hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks.
Responsibilities include consultations, multidisciplinary rounds, reading hospital diagnostic studies during service week, on-site clinic visits, reviewing diagnostic studies ordered at clinics, follow-up communication with patients, and care coordination with imaging/testing teams.
Each cardiologist has one weekly clinic reading day.
When on hospital service: o Their clinic reading day is reassigned to another cardiologist.
