Seeking two experienced CRNAs for an ongoing locum assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Ideal for providers comfortable practicing independently who are interested in a long-term assignment with a diverse case mix.

Position Details

• Specialty: CRNA


• Start Date: ASAP after credentialing


• Duration: Ongoing


• Schedule: Monday through Friday


• Initial shifts: 8 and 10 hours


• Potential for longer shifts pending facility approval


• Two providers needed

Call Requirements

• Willingness to take call required


• Weeknight and weekend call available


• 30-minute response time required


• Average callback rate approximately 30%

Compensation

• $270/hour


• Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided

Case Mix

• Orthopedics


• General Surgery


• Vascular


• Neuro Spine


• Neurosurgery


• OB


• Pediatrics


• Epidurals


• Regional Blocks

Preferred Experience

Providers with experience in the following areas are highly preferred

• Pediatric dental cases


• Ultrasound-guided regional blocks

Requirements

• Active CRNA certification


• BLS


• ACLS


• PALS


• New Mexico license or willingness to obtain licensure


• Minimum of one year of CRNA experience


• Comfortable practicing independently


• Proficient in performing regional blocks

This facility does not provide onsite training for regional blocks and expects providers to be fully confident and experienced in these procedures.
