Job Details — Locum Tenens Anesthesia
- Assignment Dates: Asap-ongoing
- Location: Worcester, MA — central Massachusetts, easy access to local dining, parks, and cultural amenities
- Shifts: Flexible start/stop times, 24/7 coverage; options for 12-, 16-, 18-, and 24-hour shifts
- No call required
- EMR: EPIC
- Setting: Multiple clinical sites including university and memorial hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers
CRNA Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification required (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Board certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA (anesthesia experience in operative settings preferred)
- Open to providers with or without a Massachusetts license (Massachusetts CRNA jobs / locum tenens in MA)
- Two professional references required (one must be a physician)
Primary Responsibilities — Anesthesia Care Team
- Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia as an integrated member of the Anesthesia Care Team
- Deliver perioperative anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical specialties including transplant, ENT, trauma neurosurgery, cardiac, and orthopedics
- Serve across multiple clinical sites and collaborate with more than 160 clinical providers across seven sites
- Participate in flexible scheduling with no call responsibilities
- Perform responsibilities in EPIC for documentation and charting
- Note: CRNAs are medically supervised and regional anesthesia procedures are performed by physicians
