  • Weekend Call: Beeper call required (call back rate < 5%)

CRNA Qualifications
  • Active registered nurse license
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Eligible for or willing to obtain New Hampshire CRNA license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Ability to work full scheduled shifts and participate in weekend on-call rotation
CRNA Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, pediatric, and OB cases
  • Monitor patients’ physiological condition throughout procedures
  • Perform clinical interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians in a 3:1 CRNA to MD ratio
  • Utilize hospital charting systems (Meditech/paper)
