CRNA Job Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred
- Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts and remain flexible with case coverage needs
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to anesthesia care
CRNA Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient history
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
- Monitor physiological status throughout procedures
- Provide clinical intervention as needed to support safe patient outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the perioperative care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
