CRNA Job Details – Charleston, WV
  • Job Title: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Location: Charleston, West Virginia
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks starting asap
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: Night shifts (5x8-hour, 7:00pm – 7:00am); flexible options (4x10s, 3x12s)
  • Practice Setting: Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
  • EMR: Cerner
CRNA Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in West Virginia
  • Board Certification as a CRNA
  • Minimum 2 years of nurse anesthetist experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Ability to provide anesthesia in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare environments
CRNA Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology, thoracic, pediatric, neuro, and cardiac cases
  • Float between three Charleston hospitals as needed, with primary coverage in Main ORs
  • Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care for patients of all ages
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
  • Participate in hospital orientation and credentialing processes
