CRNA Job Details – Charleston, WV
- Job Title: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Location: Charleston, West Virginia
- Contract Length: 13 weeks starting asap
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Night shifts (5x8-hour, 7:00pm – 7:00am); flexible options (4x10s, 3x12s)
- Practice Setting: Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- EMR: Cerner
CRNA Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in West Virginia
- Board Certification as a CRNA
- Minimum 2 years of nurse anesthetist experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Ability to provide anesthesia in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare environments
CRNA Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology, thoracic, pediatric, neuro, and cardiac cases
- Float between three Charleston hospitals as needed, with primary coverage in Main ORs
- Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
- Participate in hospital orientation and credentialing processes
