This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, top-of-market pay, and a supportive clinical team.The Role:Locum OB Hospitalist needed in Ohio.Dates of Coverage: 1 Weekend per month Aug-Dec 20262-3 weekends per month ongoing. Job Details:Friday (7a) - Monday (7a) - 24 hours - in house - laborist

Practice Setting: Hospital Call 90 % Labor and Delivery

Call schedule: Two weekends a month Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Call Ratio: 1:4 currently

Number of beds: L&D/Post Partum /Triage 34 Beds Hospital 205

Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: Varies

Number of Physicians in Practice: Four

No Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates

How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 per 12 hour shift

Required OB Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e.

History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)L&D Procedures: Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

GYN Procedures: Surgical Gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs

Onsite Lab & Ultrasound: Yes

Support Staff: L&D Nurses and Midwives (not a guarantee the midwife will be onsite for the full 24 hours of shift).

Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 60%Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 40%Percentage of Practice is GYN: 60%Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: Five

What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: One

Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: Four

Nursery Level (I, II, III): Level II1300 Deliveries per Year
