Care Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity providing weekend day call coverage at a busy hospital-based anesthesia practice.

This assignment offers consistent weekend work with the opportunity to pick up 1–2 weekday shifts on either side of the weekend, providing flexibility and additional earning potential.

Schedule & Call Details

Primary Coverage: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts

Weekday Shifts: Optional (1–2 days pre/post weekend)

In-House Call: Required (daytime weekend coverage)

Pager Call: Not required (no weeknight or weekend pager call)

Overtime: Not expected

Case Mix: General, Orthopedics, Obstetrics

Care Team Model: MD-supervised CRNAs

CRNA to MD Ratio: 4:1

MDs Running Own Cases: Yes

Anesthesia Rooms: 14

Charting System: Epic

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified Anesthesiologist (required)

Active or eligible [State] medical license (licensing candidates welcomed)

ACLS & BLS required

Comfortable supervising CRNAs and performing own cases
