LOCUM TENENS CRNA OPPORTUNITY IN IOWA

JOB DETAILS

Location: Iowa

Dates Needed:

July 13 - 17 (8- or 12-hour day coverage) - REQUIRED minimum coverage
Every Monday in June and July (8-hour day coverage)
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours. (Patient

Contact Hours: 40/week).

Coverage Requirements: Drive-in candidates only (must be within driving distance; flights are not allowed).
Call/Weekends: No weekends required. On-call is available if the provider is willing, once trained.

CLINICAL SCOPE:

Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital (249 beds)
Trauma Level: Level IV Community Trauma Care Facility
Autonomy Model: Independent practice. CRNAs practice independently with 2 physicians on staff. No supervision of APPs is expected.
Facility Size/Volume: 4 ORs, 1 GI Suite, 1 OB Suite. Typical volume is 50-55 cases per week.
Case Mix: General, Ortho, GI, Urology, ENT, and OB. General, GI, and Ortho make up the majority of cases.
Exclusions: No Head and No Heart cases.
EMR: Epic / Cerner (Both are listed in the description; may involve a transition or dual-use).

REQUIREMENTS

Board Status: Board Certified required.
Licensure: Active Iowa CRNA License or active Compact License required.
Experience: Experienced candidates are highly preferred, but the facility is willing to review new graduates.
Background: Clean malpractice/background history required. No settled, pending, or dismissed cases. NPDB must be pulled within the last 30-90 days.
