LOCUM TENENS CRNA OPPORTUNITY IN WISCONSIN

JOB DETAILS

Location: Wisconsin
Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Duration: Full-time, ongoing
Schedule: 14-week block rotation (offers a predictable, full-time schedule). Shifts are 8 or 10 hours (07:00 - 15:00 or 07:00 - 17:00). Some 12-hour shifts are available to enhance EP services or are typically used for call only. The team strives to provide one morning and one lunch break daily.
Call Requirements: Yes. Typical call coverage is six weeknight shifts and one weekend shift every 14 weeks. Evening and weekend call is a 2nd call beeper from home or hotel. CRNAs are contacted for emergencies, complex cases, difficult airways, or when two anesthesia teams are required.

CLINICAL SCOPE:

Practice Setting: Small, collaborative group environment.
Medical Direction/Supervision: Supervision model. MD

As handle pre- and post-ops, orders, regional blocks, and are available for case management as needed. CRNAs are primarily in the OR.

Autonomy: There is an opportunity for CRNAs interested in working independently to perform blocks, epidurals, etc. Spinals for C-sections and ortho total joints are performed regularly.
Case Mix: General, GI, OB, neuro, vascular, ortho, healthy peds, ENT, urology, EP lab, MRI, and occasional IR cases.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required.
Licensure: Active Wisconsin state license preferred, but the facility is willing to assist with licensing.
