CLINICAL SCOPE:

Practice Setting: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (Average Daily Census ~10; ~250 deliveries/year) and an affiliated 16-bed surgical/specialty hospital location.
Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
Case Mix: General Anesthesia (Adult & Pediatrics), Obstetrics, Neurosurgery, Spine cases, GI, Ortho/Spine, ENT, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Bariatrics, Urology, and Robotics.
Required Procedural Skills: Epidural & Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural steroid injections (Lumbar or Cervical), Transforaminal cases (Lumbar or Cervical), Fluoroscopy-guided nerve blocks, Post-op epidurals, Invasive Ventilation Management (ETT/Tracheostomy/NT), Non-invasive Ventilation Management (Bi

PAP/CPAP), Bronchoscopy, and Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement.

Optional Skills: Orthopedic cases and Post-op extremity blocks are listed as non-mandatory preferred skills.
Exclusions: No Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic, Central line placement, Arterial line placement, or PA catheter placement.

REQUIREMENTS

Board Status: Board Certification is not strictly required.
Licensure: Active Wyoming state license or IMLC required.
Certifications: ACLS (Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges), PALS (AHA issued), and ATLS (AHA issued).
