Night Shift CRNA Locum – Southern California Multi-Site Assignment
No Call | Flexible Night Scheduling | 3-Month Term + Extension Option
Palm Health is actively staffing a night shift CRNA locum opportunity at a well-established integrated care system in Southern California, covering three modern inpatient facilities within the same regional network.
These hospitals feature large surgical departments (9–12 ORs per site), consistent case volumes, and a strong care team model.
This is a high-autonomy night shift assignment ideal for CRNAs who enjoy variety, independence, and the energy of off-hours surgical teams.
Assignment Overview
Start Date: ASAP (90-day credentialing from completed application)
Duration: 3 months with potential to extend
Schedule Options:
4x10s: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3x12s: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes 30-minute lunch; schedule flexibility preferred
Facilities Covered:
CRNA will rotate between 3 inpatient surgical campuses (not on the same day) — all part of a top-rated Southern California health system
Each campus features 9–12 ORs
Bed sizes range from 320–560+
Full surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative support staff
EPIC-based EMR (Health
Connect platform)
Care Model: CRNAs work within a collaborative care team, under anesthesiologist supervision
Clinical Expectations
Case Types Include:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Urology
GYN
Spinals
Healthy Peds (ages 1+)
No OB cases
Must be confident with pediatric anesthesia (age 1+) and spinal anesthesia
Patient volume dependent on OR schedule
Requirements
CRNA Certification: Required (NBCRNA)
State License: Must hold active California license (IMLC not accepted)
Vaccination: COVID vaccination preferred
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS recommended
Experience: Must be confident working independently overnight in a care team model
Compensation
Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on commitment and experience
OT Rate (after 40 hrs/week): 1.5x base
