Hospital-based Locum CRNA

CRNA coverage needed in Minnesota, 2026 dates available, 2027 wide open.

Types of cases: Busy Level III trauma center offering about half of the cases being general or ortho, and the remaining cases ENT, podiatry, OB and other adult specialty. Approximately 925 births annually. CRNAs have a great deal of autonomy here.

Highlights of this Assignment:

• 184 bed facility. 9 ORs.

• Anesthesia department consists of 4 anesthesiologists and 16 CRNAs when fully staffed. This is a Care Team model with a lot of autonomy for the CRNA's.

• CRNAs place spinals, epidurals, and other regional anesthesia. * Facility would like experienced CRNA's with these skills since they are very short staffed.

• 40 hours per week. You may be on 8- or 10-hour shifts guaranteed, depending on needs.

• Locum CRNA may be asked to take call. If you are on an extended assignment you may have some weekend coverage as well. When presenting state if OPEN to call.

• EPIC Charting System • Credentialing here takes a min of 60-90 days.

• Assignment length: Open ended until hospital is fully staffed but looking at those that commit at least 6 months is ideal

Assignment Reimbursement Schedule:

• M-F workday at $240.00/hour.

Prefer full coverage- Monday-Friday; 8's only possibly 10's if taking call

• Overtime: reimbursed at $270.00/hr to be paid at the nearest 15 minute increments.

• Call: Week night call (back up from home) will be at $400.00 to carry the pager until the next morning. If you are called back in while on week night call you will receive $270.00/hour for call backs with 2 hour mins for each call back. Call backs do NOT apply towards your daytime hours. • Weekend call: Back up call from home will be $1,800 to carry the pager for each 24 hours; this includes 2 hour of gratis. You will receive $270.00/hour for call backs with a 2 hour min for each call back after the 2 hour mins is met.

• 1 round trip mileage from the provider’s home base to Bemidji at the IRS mileage reimbursement rate.

Any flights and car rentals must be pre-approved.

• Lodging: reimbursed

Any upgrades and/or pet fees will be at the provider’s expense.
