About the Practice

An established private practice in the vibrant Tampa Bay, Florida area is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its outpatient pain management clinical team. The practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial pain management consultations, physical examinations, and comprehensive patient health histories.

  • Process prescription refills and oversee continuous medication management according to practice standards and state regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct routine follow-up visits to monitor patient functional outcomes, treatment plan efficacy, and rehabilitation progress.

  • Order diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, X-ray) and interventional pain procedures for supervising physicians.

  • Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans incorporating conservative care, procedural interventional therapies, and medical management.

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant electronic medical record (EMR) documentation for all patient interactions.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (MSN/DNP) or Physician Assistant (MSPAS) program.

  • Active, unrestricted APRN or PA license in the State of Florida (or eligible to obtain).

  • National board certification (AANP/ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs).

  • Active Federal DEA registration and Florida prescriptive authority (or eligible).

  • Pain Management and/or Orthopedics experience is a major plus, though highly motivated APPs with a strong interest in musculoskeletal and interventional medicine are encouraged to apply.

  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Compensation & Benefits Package

  • Base Salary: $120,000 base salary (W2 Position).

  • Bonus Structure: Production bonus opportunity providing total potential compensation of up to $150,000!
