Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures across multi-specialty ambulatory environments.

• Perform pre-anesthetic health assessments, patient airway evaluations, and risk stratifications.

• Formulate and administer tailored general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and regional anesthesia protocols.

• Manage anesthetic depth, hemodynamic stability, and physiological monitoring intraoperatively across diverse outpatient surgical suites:

  • Ophthalmology: Cataract surgeries, vitrectomy procedures, and ocular surgeries.

  • Endoscopy: Diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs).

  • Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery: Elective aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

  • Urology: Cystoscopies, minor urological interventions, and lithotripsy.

  • ENT: Otolaryngology procedures, sinus surgeries, and head/neck interventions.

  • Podiatry & Hand Surgery: Extremity blocks, hardware removals, and soft tissue repairs.

• Oversee immediate post-anesthesia recovery (PACU), managing post-operative pain and discharge criteria.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant electronic medical record (EMR) charting for all patient encounters.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program (SRNAs nearing completion are eligible).

• Active Board Certification (or board eligibility for graduating SRNAs) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN / CRNA) license in the State of New Jersey (or immediate eligibility).

• Active Federal DEA registration and New Jersey CDS registration (or eligible to obtain).

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

• Open to both experienced CRNAs and graduating SRNAs.

Compensation & Benefits Package

• Base Salary: $300,000 per year
